Hailiang Partners with Rawas to Launch $566 Million Copper Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia
Hailiang is establishing a copper processing joint venture in Saudi Arabia with Rawas National Investment Holding, valued at $566 million. This venture aims to enhance Hailiang's operational efficiency and expand its market presence in the Middle East and beyond.

Hailiang will create a joint venture (JV) with Rawas National Investment Holding for $566 million, focusing on copper processing in Saudi Arabia. Hailiang will hold a 51% stake in the JV, which will operate at Dammam Port with an annual processing capacity of 150,000 tonnes, including various copper products.
The partnership will utilize local resources and energy advantages to enhance Hailiang's supply chain and operational efficiency. The company is assessing geopolitical risks and will proceed with caution, adhering to China's outbound investment regulations.
