Hamilton City Manager Announces Pause on Data Center Study at Developer's Request
Hamilton City Manager Craig Bucheit announced a pause on the data center study requested by Logistixs, following preliminary results indicating significant challenges related to time, funding, and infrastructure. The developer is assessing the feasibility of supplying 240 megawatts of power, with current projections showing that delivering 45 megawatts would take at least 24 months. Concerns from residents regarding costs, health, and environmental impacts have also emerged as the city considers the project's future.
