Hartek Power has been awarded an EPC contract for a 280 MW AC / 410 MWp DC solar PV project and an 80 MW / 320 MWh battery energy storage system in Challakere, Karnataka, with a total purchase price of approximately INR 353.77 crore. The scope includes design, engineering, supply, erection, commissioning, and one year of operations and maintenance.

This project aims to enhance grid stability and ensure reliable power supply through integrated solar generation and energy storage. It contributes to Karnataka's clean energy footprint and aligns with India's energy transition goals. Industry analysts indicate that hybrid solar and storage projects are expected to become more common as renewable energy capacity increases throughout the country.
