Harworth Group submitted a planning application for a data center and 400 new homes on the former Rufford Colliery site in Nottinghamshire, UK. The project includes a data center, electrical substation, and battery storage, with an estimated cost of £100 million.

The development is projected to create 250 construction jobs over six years and 162 permanent jobs. The colliery operated from 1911 until its closure in 1993.
