FLEX4H2, coordinated by Ansaldo Energia, received the 'Best Success Story' award at the Hydrogen Research and Innovation Days 2025 from the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. The project demonstrated that sequential combustion can utilize any blend of natural gas and hydrogen, including pure hydrogen, contributing to industrial hydrogen combustion.

Ansaldo Energia aims to operate turbines with up to 70% hydrogen by 2030, enhancing decarbonization efforts in power generation. The technology relies on Constant Pressure Sequential Combustion (CPSC), improving fuel flexibility and reducing emissions.
