hep global GmbH is set to expand a solar park in Schongau, Bavaria, featuring Germany's first fully integrated battery storage system, with an installed capacity of approximately 8 MWp and a storage capacity of 6.1 MWh. Construction will begin in Q2 2026, aiming to produce over 9.3 million kilowatt-hours annually, enough to power around 2,744 households. The project, developed in partnership with Volllast GmbH, is currently in its final planning phase and is backed by multiple investors.

hep global GmbH is expanding a solar park in Schongau, Bavaria, incorporating a fully integrated battery storage system for the first time in Germany. The project will have an installed capacity of approximately 8 MWp and a battery storage capacity of 6.1 MWh with an output of 3 MW.
Construction is set to begin in Q2 2026, with an expected annual electricity production of over 9.3 million kilowatt-hours, sufficient to supply around 2,744 households. The project is in its final technical planning phase, with financing from multiple individual investors.
This initiative is a result of a partnership with Volllast GmbH, which provides expertise in local land acquisition and project development, while hep global handles technical planning and operational management. Additional projects in collaboration with Volllast are planned for 2026.
