HIG Capital Acquires Enrogen Ltd to Expand Visa's Generator Business in the UK
Visa, backed by HIG Capital, has acquired Enrogen Ltd, a UK-based generator manufacturer, to enhance its international growth strategy. This acquisition strengthens Visa's presence in the crucial UK market and establishes a local hub in York, increasing production capacity and offering tailored generator solutions for data centers, hospitals, and large events.
Enrogen's technical expertise and post-sales service network are expected to consolidate Visa's position in the competitive British market. Founded in 1960 in Italy, Visa aims to reach €200 million in revenue within the next three to four years, up from €150 million in 2025, leveraging its six production sites across Italy, Spain, and the UK. The company operates in over 100 countries, driven by the growing demand for renewable energy solutions and continuous power supply for critical infrastructure.
