STRATEGIC MINERALS
Hindustan Copper has received fines of ₹9,77,040 from both the NSE and BSE due to non-compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The violations involve the composition of the Board and committee structures for the quarter ending December 31, 2025.
As a government entity, its director appointments are managed by the President of India via the Ministry of Mines. The company is actively seeking the appointment of five independent directors to rectify this compliance issue and has discussed seeking an exemption from the fines during a recent board meeting.
