HiTHIUM Energy Storage Establishes Base in Hong Kong Park
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co Ltd will create a battery technology transformation base in the Hetao zone, receiving HK$80 million in funding. This initiative aims to enhance Hong Kong's role in green energy manufacturing and innovation.

HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co Ltd has secured approximately 3,700 square meters at the Hong Kong Park within the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. The company will invest over HK$200 million to establish a facility expected to generate HK$750 million in output value within five years and create over 100 jobs.
This project is part of the government's New Industrialisation Acceleration Scheme, which has approved HiTHIUM’s application for a production line focused on high-capacity energy storage batteries. The park, opened on December 22, has nearly 80 companies with an occupancy rate of around 90%. HiTHIUM's presence is anticipated to bolster Hong Kong's new energy industry and contribute to the country's 15th Five-Year Plan, promoting a low-carbon industrial ecosystem.
