HIVE Reports Revenue Surge Amid Bitcoin Holdings Decline and AI Expansion Plans
HIVE Digital Technologies' annual revenue reached $297.8 million, a 158% increase, despite a reduction in Bitcoin holdings to 150 BTC. The company is pivoting towards AI infrastructure with plans for a significant data center near Toronto.

HIVE Digital Technologies reported $297.8 million in revenue for fiscal 2026, up from $115.3 million the previous year, primarily due to increased Bitcoin mining and high-performance computing (HPC). Its Bitcoin holdings decreased to 150 BTC, down from 481 BTC at the end of Q4 2025, reflecting a $23 million reduction in value.
The company mined 2,885 BTC during the year, a 103% increase from 1,414 BTC mined in fiscal 2025. HIVE's HPC division generated $19.5 million in revenue, highlighting a strategic shift towards AI computing.
Plans for a 320-megawatt AI data center in the Greater Toronto Area aim to position HIVE as a leader in AI infrastructure. However, HIVE reported a GAAP net loss of $148.4 million, influenced by non-cash depreciation expenses.
