HOCHTIEF and Turner to Construct NTT's 36MW Data Center in Berlin
NTT Global Data Centers has awarded HOCHTIEF a contract to build a 36 MW data center in Berlin, valued at several hundred million euros. The project, set to begin in summer 2026, aims to enhance Germany's digital infrastructure to meet growing demand.

HOCHTIEF has secured a contract from NTT Global Data Centers for the construction of a 36 MW data center in Berlin, with a total project value in the hundreds of millions of euros. Construction is slated to commence in summer 2026, with initial data halls expected to be operational by 2028 and full completion targeted for 2029.
The project includes a three-story main data center facility and a four-story office building, alongside comprehensive electrical and mechanical engineering work. This initiative is expected to bolster Germany's digital infrastructure amidst increasing demand for data center capacity, reflecting trends observed in the industry.
