Holcim Acquires Stake in BW Ideol to Enhance Floating Offshore Wind Projects

WIND ENERGY

Holcim has acquired a minority equity stake in BW Ideol to advance the construction of floating offshore wind infrastructure. The partnership will utilize Holcim's materials for two fabrication lines in Southern France and Northeast Scotland, supporting projects with capacities of 960 MW and 270 MW. This investment supports Holcim's sustainability strategy and aims to lower costs for floating wind energy.
