Hombre Muerto West Project Phase 1 Construction Completed
Galan Lithium has finished Phase 1 construction at the Hombre Muerto West project in Argentina, moving towards lithium production. The project is set to initiate production with a capacity of 4 ktpa LCE, expected to increase to 5.2 ktpa LCE, leveraging a significant brine inventory of 10,000 t LCE by April 2026.

Galan Lithium Limited has completed Phase 1 construction of the Hombre Muerto West Project in Catamarca Province, Argentina. The project is entering the testing and commissioning phase, with electrical and mechanical testing underway.
Initial lithium chloride concentrate production is scheduled for the first half of 2026, with first shipments anticipated in the second half. A brine inventory of approximately 10,000 t LCE is prepared for processing.
Plans for expansion to 5.2 ktpa LCE will begin soon, with long-term goals of reaching 60 ktpa LCE across four development phases. This positions Galan as a significant player in the global lithium supply market, though the transition to production carries operational risks that must be managed effectively.
