HRS to Install Hydrogen Refueling Station at Kourou Space Centre in French Guiana
HRS is set to install an HRS14 hydrogen refueling station at the Kourou space centre by June 2026 as part of the HYGUANE project. This initiative aims to advance heavy-duty hydrogen mobility in French Guiana, promoting low-carbon transport solutions.

HRS will conduct a refueling sequence involving a HYLIKO 350 bar truck at the HRS40 station on June 24, 2026, as part of the HYGUANE project in French Guiana. This project, commissioned by the ESA and managed by ALLDIS-NERIUS, aims to establish a hydrogen ecosystem to support the transition to low-carbon transport.
HRS has the capacity to produce 180 hydrogen stations annually, with lead times of 6 to 12 weeks, and operates a unique testing facility in Europe. The company maintains a significant market presence with 31 high-capacity stations collectively delivering over 6 tonnes/day.
