Huawei has launched the Atlas 950 AI supercomputer at MWC 2026, positioning it as a competitor to Nvidia’s technologies. The Atlas 950 integrates 8,192 NPUs and delivers 8 EFLOPS FP8 and 16 EFLOPS FP16 performance. The system features UnifiedBus architecture for enhanced computing efficiency. Huawei plans to commercially release the Atlas 950 in Q4 2026, along with other models such as the TaiShan 950 SuperPoD. The event marks a significant step in Huawei's strategy to enhance its global presence amidst US-China tech tensions.
