Huiyuan Cowins Technology Group Limited announced progress in its phase-change material technology for AI data centers. The Huailai Project integrates waste heat recovery for clean heating, reducing cooling costs and carbon emissions.

Developed with Environmental Process Systems Limited and Tsinghua University, the project utilizes PCM technology to save up to 60% energy. It is expected to provide over 75,000 GJ of heat annually and reduce CO2 emissions by over 4,000 tons.

The project reached break-even within a year and serves as a replicable model for other data centers in China, promoting energy efficiency in agriculture and community heating. The Group plans to expand its PCM applications to meet the rising demand in the data center market.
