Hwehtaik Hydropower Project in Myanmar to Electrify Lahe and 12 Villages
The Hwehtaik hydropower project in Lahe, Sagaing Region, will provide electricity to 1,718 households and 12 nearby villages. The project features a four megawatt capacity turbine, generating 20.381 million kilowatt hours annually. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the project's progress and emphasized timely construction before the rainy season to enhance local socioeconomic conditions.

The Hwehtaik hydropower project, located on Hwehtaik Creek in Lahe Township, Sagaing Region, aims to electrify 1,718 households and 12 nearby villages. It includes a four megawatt turbine expected to produce 20.381 million kilowatt hours per year.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the project, focusing on completing construction and power line installation before the rainy season to ensure systematic implementation. He also engaged with local students, encouraging their educational efforts.
