HY-Infra Project Launched to Enhance Hydrogen Infrastructure in Meuse-Rhine Region
The HY-Infra project, initiated by partners from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, aims to develop hydrogen infrastructure in the Meuse-Rhine region. Key organizations involved include WaterstofNet, ZBT, and POM Limburg. The project, funded by the Interreg Meuse Rhine program and supported by the ERDF, seeks to create an integrated framework for infrastructure planning between 2026 and 2035, focusing on hydrogen demand and quality monitoring.

The HY-Infra project has been launched to accelerate hydrogen infrastructure development in the Meuse-Rhine region by partners from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. The initiative includes WaterstofNet, ZBT, and POM Limburg, addressing challenges in hydrogen infrastructure, demand aggregation, and quality.
The project aims to establish a cross-border framework for planning between 2026 and 2035, focusing on industrial and refuelling infrastructure, and will develop innovative monitoring solutions. It will also create a transnational database and facilitate knowledge exchange. The project is supported by the Interreg Meuse Rhine program and various regional authorities.
