Hydrogen Council Expands Membership with Seven New Companies Committed to Hydrogen Initiatives
Seven new members have joined the Hydrogen Council, enhancing global collaboration on hydrogen projects. This expansion includes companies across Europe and Asia focused on advancing hydrogen infrastructure, production, and applications.

On April 14, 2026, the Hydrogen Council welcomed seven new members: ANDRITZ, Enagás, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, Intelligent Energy, ITM Power, Keppel Infrastructure Division, and Lotte Chemical. These companies contribute to various aspects of the hydrogen value chain, including infrastructure and production technologies.
Notably, Enagás is developing hydrogen infrastructure in Spain with projects like H2med, while HD KSOE is advancing hydrogen fuel cell technologies through its subsidiary, HD Hydrogen. Keppel is leading efforts in Singapore with a hydrogen-compatible cogeneration plant.
LOTTE Chemical aims to enhance the hydrogen sector in Korea through strategic investments and partnerships. This coalition signifies a critical step in scaling hydrogen solutions necessary for energy transition, though challenges remain in achieving unified regulatory frameworks.
