Hygge Energy and Atria Renewable Sign MoU to Enhance Rooftop Solar and P2P Trading in Bengaluru
Hygge Energy and Atria Renewable have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote rooftop solar adoption and peer-to-peer energy trading in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in line with Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission guidelines. The partnership will see Atria as a preferred solar installation partner, sharing consumer data and technical insights. Atria will manage the installation lifecycle while Hygge will develop a shared mobile app to facilitate P2P trading.

Hygge Energy and Atria Renewable signed a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate rooftop solar adoption and peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This collaboration aligns with guidelines from the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Atria will serve as a preferred solar installation partner, conducting site assessments and managing installations. Both companies will share consumer data and insights, and develop a mobile application to support P2P trading. Hygge's initiative includes a financing model for solar and battery storage, leveraging CBDC tokenization, aimed at expanding operations and promoting local job creation.
