Hyperco Proposes New Data Center Project in Kouvola, Finland
Hyperco has submitted a permit application for a new 100MW data center in Kouvola. The development aligns with the company's growth strategy following its acquisition by Edgnex.

Hyperco has filed a permit application to develop a new data center in Kouvola, Finland, with a capacity of 100MW over 56,670 sqm. The Kouvola Technical Committee is set to review this application on June 16.
The firm is seeking permission to commence construction ahead of the permit's activation to manage ground conditions before winter. This follows the construction of Hyperco's first data center in Koria, which is expected to be completed by May 2027.
Hyperco was acquired by Edgnex in April 2025 and has ongoing projects in Espoo, Pyhäjoki, and Lohja, along with connections to another site in Kouvola. The company's strategy reflects significant investment in Finland's data infrastructure.
