Hypersonix Completes Vibration Testing of DART AE Hypersonic Vehicle in Australia

HYDROGEN

Hypersonix Launch Systems has completed vibration testing of its DART AE hypersonic technology demonstrator in Queensland, Australia. The testing confirmed the structure and materials can withstand the mechanical stresses of hypersonic operations, indicating readiness for flight activities.

DART AE, designed for speeds up to Mach 7, is powered by a hydrogen-fueled scramjet and is the world's first hypersonic launch platform with a fully 3D-printed airframe. The vehicle measures approximately 3 meters in length, weighs about 300 kilograms, and has a range of up to 1,000 kilometers. The DART program supports Australia's focus on developing sovereign industrial capabilities in hypersonic technologies.
