HyPRIME Project Initiated to Develop Hydrogen Infrastructure for Aviation
ZeroAvia's HyPRIME project aims to establish hydrogen refuelling infrastructure for future liquid hydrogen aircraft. Funded by the UK Department for Transport, this initiative is crucial for achieving zero-emission operations in commercial aviation.

The HyPRIME project, led by ZeroAvia and supported by the UK Department for Transport, focuses on developing hydrogen refuelling infrastructure for liquid hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft. It integrates technologies from ULEMCo's ground support equipment and GeoPura's Hydrogen Powered Unit.
The project will take place in a live airport setting, assessing operational, safety, and economic aspects of implementing liquid hydrogen across UK airports. Insights gained will inform refuelling protocols and highlight hydrogen's potential benefits in aviation, which may influence future regulatory frameworks and industry practices.
