Hysea, Zhiguang Electric, and BYD Commission Major Energy Storage Projects in China, DRC, and Bulgaria
Hysea, Zhiguang Electric, and BYD Energy Storage have secured major energy storage projects domestically and internationally. Hysea won the bid for the Anhui Zhongsheng Hongwei 5MW/10MWh energy storage project managed by GCL Integrated Energy, following a 150MWh annual framework agreement with GCL signed in November 2025.
Hysea has delivered over 5MWh of equipment for various GCL projects. Zhiguang Electric signed cooperation orders with Vinmart Group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for three solar-storage-diesel microgrid projects in mining areas, utilizing customized containerized energy storage solutions. BYD Energy Storage's Maritsa East 3 power plant project in Bulgaria, in collaboration with ContourGlobal, has entered commercial operation, featuring a capacity of 202MW/500MWh and utilizing LFP battery technology along with integrated Power Conversion Systems.
