Drilled to 1,695m, McCoy-1 represents a strategic shift in HyTerra's approach, moving from historical validations to proprietary geological interpretations. The production test aims to determine gas composition, sustainable flow rates, and reservoir behavior. Kansas is also recognized for its hydrogen demand, particularly in ammonia production and transportation.
