Hyundai Expands Marine Conservation Partnership for Sustainability Initiatives
Hyundai Motor Company enhances its collaboration with Healthy Seas to address marine pollution through diverse initiatives in the U.S. This expansion reflects a commitment to fostering community participation in environmental conservation efforts.

Hyundai Motor Company has expanded its partnership with Healthy Seas, focusing on marine sustainability through initiatives in the United States. Originally launched in 2021, the collaboration has grown to address marine pollution by recovering over 320 tonnes of marine litter across 10 countries.
The new phase includes the 'From Sea to Shore' program in Southern California, which involves underwater recovery missions and beach restoration activities with employee participation. Additionally, educational workshops for children aim to raise awareness about marine conservation. The initiative aligns with Hyundai's circular economy strategy by converting recovered materials into ECONYL® yarn, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
