I-Net Launches New Data Center in Yokohama, Expanding Capacity to 3,000 Racks
I-Net has officially opened a new data center annex in Yokohama City, located within NTT East Corporation’s Kanagawa Business Division. The facility spans 380 sqm, providing space for 100 racks and a capacity of 600 kW.
This marks I-Net's fourth facility in Yokohama, following previous openings in 1998, 2009, and an expansion in 2014, allowing for a total of 3,000 racks across 22,000 sqm. Additionally, I-Net operates east and west facilities in Chubu and Kansai, launched in 2015 and 2017 respectively, and another site in Hokkaido.
The company announced plans to cease services at its original Yokohama data center by December 2026. In March 2025, solar panels were deployed at the second Yokohama data center.
