Iberdrola, ACS, and Merlin Raise €10 Billion for Growth Initiatives
Multiple Spanish companies, including Iberdrola and ACS, have raised €10 billion in capital to fund growth and infrastructure investments. This capital influx is critical for expanding operations, particularly in data centers and international markets.

Iberdrola completed a €5 billion capital increase in July 2025 to support its growth strategy in the UK and US, achieving 3.8 times oversubscription. ACS recently executed a dual stock sale, raising €1.8 billion through a capital increase representing 2% of the company, while Merlin raised €768 million in March 2025 for its data center development.
TSK made its stock market debut in May 2026, raising €150 million to fuel business growth until 2028. Other companies, including Neinor and Amper, have also accessed capital markets, with Neinor raising €140 million for acquisitions and Amper securing €77.2 million for tech acquisitions in defense. The trend of capital increases reflects a strategic shift towards infrastructure and international expansion.
