ICEYE Launches Six SAR Satellites and Secures €300M Credit Facility
ICEYE launched six synthetic aperture radar satellites on March 30, 2026, enhancing its imaging network and supporting sovereign intelligence initiatives. The company also secured a €300 million revolving credit facility to fund growth and customer contract guarantees, reflecting a significant demand for national ISR capabilities.

On March 30, 2026, ICEYE launched six synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, as part of SpaceX's Transporter-16 mission. These satellites will enhance ICEYE's commercial constellation and support national Earth observation programs for countries including Poland and Portugal.
The company has established a €300 million three-year revolving credit facility, backed by a seven-bank syndicate, to support its expansion and customer contracts. The growing demand for sovereign intelligence systems is prompting governments to seek independent satellite capabilities for enhanced monitoring. ICEYE has launched 70 satellites since 2018 and aims for a production rate of one per week in 2026, emphasizing its commitment to meet increasing global needs for surveillance and reconnaissance data.
