Idaho Strategic Resources Secures Lease for Niagara Copper-Silver Project in Idaho
Idaho Strategic Resources has entered a long-term lease for the Niagara copper-silver project in Shoshone County, Idaho. The project, part of the Murray Gold Belt, has a historic resource estimate of over 150 million pounds of copper and 8 million ounces of silver. A drilling campaign is planned for 2026 to enhance resource confidence and explore untested areas. The lease includes an $18,000 annual payment with a 3% annual increase for 10 years, and a 2% net smelter royalty on produced minerals.

Idaho Strategic Resources has executed a long-term lease for the Niagara copper-silver project in Shoshone County, Idaho, part of the Murray Gold Belt. The site has a 2008 historic resource estimate of over 150 million pounds of copper and 8 million ounces of silver.
A drilling campaign is scheduled for 2026 to upgrade resource confidence and explore the mineralization's continuity. The lease terms include an initial annual payment of $18,000, increasing by 3% per year for 10 years, with an option to extend. A 2% net smelter royalty on minerals produced is also part of the agreement.
