IFX Codisa acquired Redes Integradas Corporativas (Reico) on February 27 to strengthen its data center operations in Costa Rica and Central America. The acquisition aligns with IFX's strategy to expand in a market increasingly driven by digitalization and demand for AI-related services.

This move is part of a broader growth strategy that includes previous acquisitions such as ADN, Luminent, and Gold Data. IFX, which entered Costa Rica in 2024, expects an 18% increase in revenue and a 25% rise in clients by 2026. Additionally, IFX announced a $14 million investment in Colombia for data center services.
