IFX Networks Launches $25M Data Center in Guatemala to Boost Digital Capacity
IFX Networks has launched a new data center named Orión in Guatemala, with an investment exceeding $25 million. This facility aims to support the growing technological demand and position Guatemala as a strategic hub for digital services in Central America.

IFX Networks has announced the opening of Orión, a data center in Guatemala, following eight months of development and construction. The project features a construction area of 5,000 square meters and aims to enhance the country's digital infrastructure, responding to increased demand.
The center operates continuously 24/7 and is equipped with over 1 megawatt of energy capacity, ensuring no downtime during power failures. It includes Tier III certification from the Uptime Institute, allowing maintenance without operational interruption.
The construction phase created over 200 jobs, while operations will provide around 100 positions. This initiative aligns with efforts to establish Guatemala as a digital hub in the region.
