IIT Guwahati has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Skyroot Aerospace to enhance India's space technology ecosystem. The collaboration will focus on funded R&D projects, specifically in developing advanced space-grade components using additive manufacturing techniques.

Students will gain hands-on experience through testing research payloads on Skyroot's Vikram-series launch vehicles, along with internships and joint research programs. The initiative aims to support advanced research, student training, and technology development aligned with national priorities, while promoting the growth of India's private space sector.
