IIT (ISM) and NHPC Conclude Executive Programme on Working Capital Management
A three-day Executive Development Programme on Working Capital Management for Power Projects concluded at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on February 20. Organized by the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering in collaboration with NHPC, the program focused on advanced practices and simulation tools for hydroelectric power projects, enhancing financial decision-making for senior finance professionals from NHPC.

The Executive Development Programme on Working Capital Management at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad was held from February 18 to 20, focusing on hydroelectric power projects. It involved senior finance professionals from NHPC, including Senior Managers and Deputy General Managers.
The training included Monte Carlo Simulation and Discrete Event Simulation using Arena software to address project uncertainties and improve financial decision-making. This initiative reflects the ongoing collaboration between IIT (ISM) and NHPC, which has been active since 2009, aiming to enhance managerial and financial capabilities in India's hydroelectric sector.
