Imperial Metals Corporation announced a total revenue of $344.5 million for 2023, a significant increase over the previous year. The net loss narrowed to $36.7 million, down from $75.9 million in 2022, attributed to improved mine operations and reduced restart costs.

For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, Imperial Metals recorded $344.5 million in revenues, compared to $172.8 million in 2022. The net loss decreased to $36.7 million, reflecting reduced losses from mine operations and eliminated restart costs.
Mount Polley mine revenues surged to $233.3 million, while Red Chris mine revenues fell to $109.8 million. Capital expenditures totaled $137.3 million, a decrease from $150.0 million in 2022. The average cash cost per pound of copper produced was $2.93 for the composite of both mines.
Exploration efforts continue at Red Chris and Mount Polley, with a focus on defining mineralization areas. The company will seek additional financing for ongoing developments, particularly for the block cave project at Red Chris.
