Inauguration of 1×5 MVA 33/11 KV Substation in Korba
A new 33/11 KV electric substation with a capacity of 1×5 MVA has been inaugurated in Korba, enhancing power supply reliability for over 5,000 consumers. This ₹1.90 crore project is part of ongoing efforts to improve the electrical infrastructure in Chhattisgarh under the Chief Minister's Electricity Infrastructure Scheme.

On April 7, 2026, Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan inaugurated a newly constructed 33/11 KV substation in Korba, built at a cost of approximately ₹1.90 crore. This facility will directly benefit more than 5,000 consumers in nearby areas, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, especially during peak summer.
The project is aligned with the Chief Minister's Electricity Infrastructure Scheme aimed at strengthening the state's power system. Additionally, the state government has introduced the Samadhan Yojana to assist consumers struggling with electricity bills. The inauguration was attended by local officials and citizens, highlighting community engagement in infrastructure development.
