SPACE ECONOMY

On November 23, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education held the '2025 Incheon Agreement-Type Specialized High School Consortium Steering Committee' to develop talent for strategic industries such as semiconductors, aviation, and logistics. This consortium model involves collaboration among educational institutions, local governments, businesses, and universities, focusing on a curriculum aligned with local industry demands.

In 2025, Yeongjong International Logistics High School will join Incheon Semiconductor High School and Jeongseok Aerospace Science High School, making Incheon the leading region in operating agreement-based vocational high schools. The meeting addressed operational performance and future cooperation strategies. Additionally, a NASA special lecture titled 'NASA Space Exploration and the Space Economy' was conducted for 450 students, featuring Professor Paul Yun, who discussed trends in space exploration and career opportunities in the aerospace sector.
