Increased Exploration in Bathurst Mining Camp by Magna Terra Minerals
Magna Terra Minerals Inc. is expanding its exploration efforts in the Bathurst Mining Camp, increasing its project to 36,533 hectares. The resurgence of interest in this region, known for lead, zinc, copper, gold, and silver deposits, indicates a potential revitalization of mining activities after over a decade of slowdown.

Magna Terra Minerals Inc. has expanded its Rocky Brook exploration project in the Bathurst Mining Camp by adding 5,770 hectares, bringing the total area to 36,533 hectares. The Bathurst Mining Camp, located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Bathurst, New Brunswick, has historically hosted deposits of lead, zinc, copper, gold, and silver.
Although major mining operations ceased 13 years ago, companies like Magna Terra are re-evaluating the area for new opportunities. This renewed interest could lead to the identification of additional mineral deposits and stimulate local economic growth.
