HYDROGEN
The IMEC initiative, unveiled at the G20 Summit in 2023, plans to connect India, the Gulf, and Europe through an extensive network of transportation and energy infrastructure. This ambition is to create a new Indo-Mediterranean connectivity space, addressing the need for resilience and diversified supply chains amid geopolitical uncertainties.
Italy is expected to play a crucial role in this corridor, which includes components for energy infrastructure, digital connections, and potential hydrogen integration. The IMEC aims to reshape trade dynamics and connectivity within the region.
