Indonesian Government Launches ASN DIGITAL to Enhance Public Services and Civil Servant Productivity
The Indonesian government is leveraging digital technology to improve public service quality and enhance the productivity of civil servants through the ASN DIGITAL initiative. This program, as stated by Ismail, Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, focuses on four key aspects: Digital Skills, Digital Safety, Digital Culture, and Digital Ethics.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) is responsible for developing ASN DIGITAL, which aims to build a digital governance framework that provides optimal services to the public. This includes the creation of a digital platform, data centers, inter-agency data integration, and strengthening the use of digital technology across ministries and agencies, along with enhancing digital talent among civil servants.
