Infineon and Nvidia Expand Collaboration for Safe Humanoid Robot Development
Infineon Technologies is expanding its partnership with Nvidia to advance system architectures for physical AI focused on humanoid robots. This collaboration aims to combine Infineon's strengths in motor control, microcontrollers, and safety technology with Nvidia's AI and robotics platforms. Key components include the use of digital twins for intelligent actuators and sensors in Nvidia's simulation environments, allowing for enhanced testing and validation of robotic systems. The partnership also emphasizes security in hardware and software for autonomous systems.

Infineon Technologies has expanded its collaboration with Nvidia to enhance system architectures for physical AI with a focus on humanoid robots. Building on their August 2025 partnership, the companies aim to integrate Infineon's expertise in motor control and safety systems with Nvidia's AI and simulation platforms.
A significant aspect of the collaboration is the incorporation of digital twins of Infineon's actuators and sensors into Nvidia's Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab, enabling realistic testing and improvement of robotic systems. This will accelerate the development and deployment of humanoid robots in sectors like logistics and manufacturing.
The partnership prioritizes security, with Infineon providing Trusted Platform Module chips and security components. Both companies will work on a system architecture offering low latency and high performance for humanoid robots.
