Infineon Technologies has signed a long-term lease for 632,000 sq ft of office space in Bengaluru, committing over ₹750 crore for a decade. This strategic move coincides with the acquisition of C2i Semiconductors, aimed at enhancing its engineering capabilities in India.

Infineon Technologies has leased 631,923 sq ft at Bagmane Solarium City in Bengaluru for a total of more than ₹750 crore over ten years, effective from December 1, 2026. The agreement includes an initial monthly rent of ₹5.56 crore, escalating by 15% every three years, and a security deposit of ₹33.36 crore.
The new facility will consolidate existing operations and accommodate 4,500 employees by 2030. The move reflects a broader trend of increased leasing activity in Bengaluru, driven by major global firms seeking to enhance R&D capabilities in India.
