Infrakey DC Parks and Lacy Lakeview Launch 925MW Data Center District in Texas
Infrakey DC Parks and the City of Lacy Lakeview have announced the creation of the Lacy Lakeview Data District (L2D2) in McLennan County, Texas, which will span 520 acres and feature a planned power capacity of 925 MW. The project aims to support hyperscale and AI data center development, with an initial phase targeting 300 MW of grid power by 2027, and anticipates over $2 billion in infrastructure investments to enhance regional employment and utility development.

Infrakey DC Parks and the City of Lacy Lakeview announced the establishment of the Lacy Lakeview Data District (L2D2) in McLennan County, Texas, covering 520 acres with a planned power capacity of 925 MW. The partnership was formalized at the PTC 2026 Conference in Honolulu.
The district will support hyperscale and AI data center development with a comprehensive infrastructure framework including ERCOT grid interconnection, energy storage, and reclaimed water sourcing. Phase I targets 300 MW of grid power, with 150 MW available from the initial substation by 2027. The project expects over $2 billion in infrastructure investment, promoting regional employment and utility development.
