InnoEnergy has financed over 540 companies since 2010 and recently raised over €140 million to bolster cleantech start-ups focusing on renewable energy, energy storage, and sustainable technologies. The firm, backed by 39 shareholders including Siemens and Volkswagen, emphasizes early-stage investments while enabling portfolio companies to secure an additional €9.8 billion in funding in 2024.
Notable investments include solar technology firms Nexwafe and Voltaro, alongside battery ventures like Q-Kera and Skeleton. InnoEnergy aims to enhance European value creation and support the development of a robust battery and solar industry as part of its mission.
