Inquiry Initiated into Power Outage During Vaishnaw's Press Meet in Jaipur
An inquiry has been ordered into a power outage during a media event involving Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Jaipur. The investigation aims to identify responsible parties and prevent future disruptions.

Rajasthan's energy minister Hiralal Nagar has initiated an inquiry into a power outage that occurred at the BJP state headquarters during a press interaction with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The disruption happened around 3:57 PM on June 11 due to an electrical imbalance while rectifying an SF-6 gas leakage in a circuit breaker, which caused the tripping of two 250 MVA transformers, impacting several substations.
Power supply was restored within 10 to 17 minutes by rerouting loads. A committee has been established to investigate the incident, with strict actions promised against negligent officials. Strengthening the power supply system is a stated priority for the government.
