Integrals Power Validates UK-Made LFP Material Performance Against Chinese Standards
Integrals Power has confirmed that its Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) material meets performance standards similar to Chinese counterparts, a significant achievement for the UK's battery supply chain. This validation is critical as Western markets aim to decrease dependency on Chinese battery production, which dominates 90% of the global market.

Integrals Power's LFP material has shown a specific capacity exceeding 153 mAh/g in independent testing conducted with the University of St Andrews. This testing program, focused on battery cell prototypes, is essential for developing the foundational data needed for larger production scales.
The collaboration is pivotal for independent validation of domestic battery materials, supporting Western objectives to reduce reliance on Chinese supply chains. Integrals Power’s production utilizes raw materials sourced from Europe and North America, enhancing supply chain transparency and mitigating geopolitical risks. As the company aligns with the UK’s net-zero ambitions and the 2030 phase-out of new combustion engine vehicles, the results from this partnership could influence procurement decisions in the battery sector.
