Intercity Transit Authority Approves $1.2 Million Contract for Parking Facility at Pattison Street HQ in Olympia
The Intercity Transit Authority has approved a $1.2 million contract for a new parking and storage facility at its Pattison Street headquarters in Olympia. The project involves converting a temporary structure into a permanent facility to support Dial-A-Lift vehicles and additional storage. General Manager Emily Bergkamp has been authorized to oversee the contract with Stantec Architecture and adjust a fee schedule due to increased project scope and costs from $86 million to $114 million.

The contract with Stantec Architecture includes design, bidding support, construction administration, and project closeout services. General Manager Emily Bergkamp was authorized to sign an amendment increasing a fee schedule for project management from $854,340.60 to $1,142,740 due to a cost increase of the renovation project from $86 million to $114 million, which includes additional work for the maintenance building and an interim hydrogen fueling station.
