Involve Space Expands to Houston and Partners with Rhodium Scientific
Involve Space has opened a new office in Houston, Texas, and entered into a collaboration with Rhodium Scientific. This expansion follows a successful stratospheric launch in January 2025 and aims to enhance dual-use technologies for Earth observation.

Involve Space, an Italian startup founded in 2021, has established a new office at Houston Spaceport, a key aerospace hub. The company specializes in stratospheric balloon missions and operates the proprietary Clear platform.
Involve Space's first stratospheric launch from Houston took place in January 2025, achieving a flight duration of 5 hours, covering 400 km, and reaching an altitude of 26 km. The new partnership with Rhodium Scientific focuses on integrating and validating biotechnology experiments in near-space environments.
Involve Space has conducted over 200 flights, raised €16.5 million, and was awarded €12.5 million from the EIC Accelerator program by the European Commission. The first commercial launches from the Houston facility are anticipated by the end of this year.
