Iowa Transportation Commission Approves RISE Funds for Waterloo, Sioux Center, Huxley

The Iowa Transportation Commission approved funding for roadway improvements in Waterloo, Sioux Center, and Huxley. Waterloo received $697,508 from RISE grants for a data center project expecting 80 jobs.
Sioux Center was awarded RISE funds for roadway access to Walinga Inc., with a $553,000 project expected to create 12 jobs. Huxley received RISE funding for a $4.2 million project to support Project Lion, a cold storage facility, projected to create 129 jobs with over $100 million in investment.
