IOWN Energy Completes Sale of 127 MW Battery Project in Nevada
IOWN Energy has finalized the sale of a 127 MW battery storage project in Nevada, securing $290 million in financing. This transaction enhances grid reliability in the U.S. Southwest and reflects IOWN's strategic focus on premium power markets.

On February 13, 2026, IOWN Energy facilitated the sale of a 127 MW standalone battery energy storage project, Roccasecca, to DESRI for an all-cash amount. Approximately $290 million in senior secured credit facilities was arranged to support project construction and operations, involving Zions Bancorporation, Société Générale, Intesa Sanpaolo, and BayernLB as Lead Arrangers.
The project is under construction and expected to be operational in 2026. This sale underscores IOWN's growth since expanding its U.S. operations in 2021, where it has developed over 1 GW of renewable projects and secured more than $2 billion in financing. The transaction is indicative of strong institutional demand for fully contracted energy assets.
